VISIONS Contemporary Ballet, a Harlem based ethnically diverse company that celebrates contemporary dance rooted in the Black experience, returns to The Riverside Theater on November 15 - 17, 2024 with For Love's Sake, four heartfelt works that share the theme of the power of love, choreographed by Founder/Artistic Director Ranardo-Domeico Grays. Featuring the premiere of Heart is Home, an inspirational piece that explores the idea of making way for joy and love despite loss and heartbreak. Dedicated to Grays' Mom and all the mothers who have instilled love and a sense of home in their children, even though they may have often been far apart in the world. Also being performed are Exile, an excerpt from Through the Valley, Graciousness, an excerpt from Roots, and Backbone.
Approximate Run time: 1 hour and 30 minutes
There will be one 10-minute intermission and two 3-minute pauses.

VISIONS Contemporary Ballet presents For Love's Sake On-Demand Fundraiser 2025 in recognition of Mother’s Day, Brain Tumor Awareness Month and in celebration of the birthday of our founder/artistic director Ranardo-Domeico Grays, now a 10-year brain cancer survivor. We also recognize Cinco de Mayo and Memorial Day this celebratory month of May.
Your contribution will help raise funds to support our New York 2025 season. VISIONS Contemporary Ballet presents Grace and Dignity, a program of uplifting, thought-provoking ballets that express the theme of honor and respect, choreographed by Ranardo-Domeico Grays, will feature the premiere of Freedom, which explores ideas of peace, unity and joy. It will be presented November 14 -16, 2025 at The Riverside Theater in New York City.
